Ledge

I use Standby Mode all the time to try to limit how much I pick up my phone during a work session, recently I have been trying to get that up by making my phone itself a secondary dock for my Mac, that's exactly what Ledge is. An attempt to make something fun that I will actually use for my personal workflow, I love having a tactile feel to changing the volume, keyboard lights, brightness of the screen or even the tabs on my desktop, using ledge I get that analog effect of turning a physical dial without actually having to, moreover its just fun to use and keeps me away from picking up the phone after every notification.

Apart from being a novelty music controller, Ledge also allows me to open up any of my recent apps in a new window, Take a screenshot and have it in my clipboard ready for paste as well as show me all the juicy system data like how much of my memory is currently running and how lousy the internet is.

Fun one day build using Claude, only hard pushback is that I have to refresh the app every 7 days unless i want to cough up a 99$ Apple Developer Account membership fee.
