Mission
To be the essential platform for Indian independent artists and designers, transforming their unique products into essential pieces of culture.
Core promise
Curated Culture, Delivered. We remove the noise, champion the story, and deliver the best of Indian indie to your door.
Vision
To move the Indian consumer market from mass-produced noise to highly-curated, authentic, and homegrown style.
The Challenges
With this project, we focused mainly on running sprints where we could layer the brand one visual after another, almost like a cake. Due to the unique nature of this project we had to ensure that we managed to still get content out while developing the brand. This created a very unique scenario, which made us feel like we were at war, and any content delays meant betraying our brothers on the front line, the founders who were pitching to investors almost every day. Thankfully we had room to mess up, and because of this we were able to create a coherent language quickly enough and started experimenting with how we could communicate the brand visually.
The Outcome
In the end we were able to create a brand system and visual language for them, as well as a strategy on how they can communicate on socials moving forward. We invested in doing heavy research and worthwhile writing, purposefully avoiding AI so that in the early days the brand had a unique language that it could use in the coming months and years. We did not continue working with the brand post-launch due to our own issues with conflicting timelines, but we ensured that, moving forward, the brand had all the ammo it needed to fight the cold hard war of trying to get venture capital.
